5 Years Old

5 years old?!?! Really? Already? Where is the time going? It is so hard to believe that my babies are 5 now! A whole hand x 3! One of my good friends told me that it's like I've done 15 years of parenting in 5 years...it sure feels like it! :) They are turning into little people before my eyes...no more baby fat, no more baby words, no more baby toys...just tall, skinny little kids that are SO independent and big! Yes, it's sad in a way, but I do love where they're at right now! We can go and do so many fun things now...life has definitely gotten easier. They are each so special, yet so different. I truly can't imagine life without one of them. They each bring something different to our family, and with all 3 of them put together we are complete.

Bailey

Bailey is like her mommy in lots of ways. She continues to be the "mother hen" to her brother and sister. She is a nurturer and likes taking care of others. She is mommy's little helper. She still likes playing with her babies. She is the leader of the 3. She likes school and playing with friends. She is dramatic and emotional...and is preparing me for the teen years already. She is 5 going on 15! She would rather wear a t-shirt and shorts than a dress any day. God knew I needed a Bailey to help me take care of the other two!

Noah

Noah got his daddy's looks and lots of his good traits! He is laid back about lots of things...to the point that he can not even make a decision without his sisters deciding first. He loves Abbie and Bailey and would rather play with them than anyone else. He is the best reader in the bunch! He likes baseball and wants to try basketball soon. He likes school, but doesn't like handwriting..."because it's boring". He loves music! He can be such a boy, but has a tender heart, too. God knew that I needed a little man like Noah to add some excitement to my life!

Abbie

And then there's Abbie... Abbie continues to be my most carefree and easygoing child. This girl wakes up with a smile on her face and stays that way most of the day. She is like a little ray of sunshine in our home! She is a pleaser and rarely gets in a whole lot of trouble. She has the neatest handwriting and is the best artist in the group. She would choose to wear a dress every day if I would let her. She loves to dance, and is so excited to start a little dance class soon with B! God knew that I needed sweet Abbie to make me smile!
